My name is Eda Ekinci and I am a second-year international student studying BA Humanities at Stellenbosch University. I have recently become a House Committee Member for my residence on campus and my portfolios are Sustainability and Social Impact as well as Women Empowerment. I was also chosen as Chairperson for UNASA (United Nations Association of South Africa) a prominent volunteering society on campus.

Nosipho Onwabile Gqaleni, holds a Master’s degree in Botany (Global Change Biology), where her research was looking at the seasonal patterns of evapotranspiration, soil moisture, rainfall and vegetation productivity. Her current research interests focus on climate finance, policy, and the assessment of climate-related risks. With industry experience in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability, and communications, she integrates data-driven environmental insights with corporate strategy to advance resilient and responsible business practices.
