PROJECT SUMMARY
South Africa is a free malaria country, except in two provinces, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Understanding how climate change, vegetation change and human mobility influence risk-factors for malaria is crucial for developing preventives measures. The study aims to assess the dynamic of malaria risk infection in the Eastern Cape Province between 2000 and 2025. The current study will use the dynamic and mechanistic models with a focus on climate change, vegetation change and human mobility variables.
