The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) Climate Change and Green Growth (PECG) Knowledge Sharing Seminar Series (KSSS) aims to enhance sharing Knowledge and strengthening collaboration among PECG colleagues and beyond.
For the 91st session of the KSSS, we are pleased to invite you to a discussion on the Recent Evolution and Current Status of the 2026 El Niño. The session will feature an expert overview of the El Niño phenomenon and its impacts on weather patterns across Africa, followed by a discussion with Bank experts on the historical impacts of El Niño in different regions of the continent and the implications for climate resilience and development planning.
